I have been in shutdown since Saturday night. I can't take it anymore. The tiniest things are tipping me into out of control overwhelm and I am heading straight into meltdown. Nothing seems to be helping. None of the usual things that I do to ground myself- they are all too much stimulation. Every instinct in me is to attack myself. To punch myself all over, throw myself against walls and SCREAM!! !! I go in a dark room and it is still too bright, too loud, too.... everything. Because it is in my head. The noise and the light and the chaos. I am out of ideas and need this to end.

A weighted blanket does miracles. Even for your state of mind. If you do not have a weighted blanket you can go under a twin mattress, just do not cover your head with it.

My life changed drastically after getting my weighted blanket... Hope you get better soon!

I don't know any practical advice I could give you, except to say keep communicating here and I really hope this passes soon.

Inositol is found in many energy drinks
