I hate living here. I am not a city girl. I love the city, but living in it every day...with the bad areas not that far away and having to deal with a bunch of nasty ghetto people that come into the store I work at.... I'm tired of it. I grew up out in the country and I didn't realize how much I'd miss it. I want to look outside and see rolling hills, sunrises and sunsets, deer grazing at nightfall, peace and quiet, hell maybe even a horse or 2. Bad thing is, we all know how crap-ass the economy is. I now how a big mortgage on a house (not to mention a 2 year old) so I'm shelling out money to keep afloat in a place I don't even want to be.
I guess this doesn't have much to do with aspergers, but I think living and working in the city both is not for someone like me. It's like I can't ever relax, I just hide away in my house and dream of what I wish I had. And I'm really really depressed about it.

Wow...I can relate to you so much.

Sometimes I feel like my life is just a series of boxes. The house, the car, the train, school. I just want to get away from it all, but doing so isn't realistic...at least for a long time.

I hear ya! It's so mundane, just a checklist. My brain is completely drained :(

And the worst part is that sometimes the tedium just wears ya down to the point where you don't even feel like doing anything... I want to move somewhere, or visit another country, but those things require money.

That is true. I have days where I have to force myself just to do the usual (laundry, etc. etc.) I really wish something would change for the good. I want to move south where it's warmer. Maybe Missouri, Arizona, I don't know. Maybe part of me wants to be a old-time southwestern outlaw lol :P

I'd love to go to AZ, I have relatives there and I really enjoy the environment.

We should meet there and drive motorbikes off sand dunes or something crazy like that. :lol: :lol:

I feel the same way. I want out of this dump so badly. There is no one here for me. But I don't know where else to go. I just want out of this crap life I have here and go some place where someone loves me.

Wow.

Y'all making me appreciate what I've got. I live in a town with two traffic lights and you gotta drive two and a half hours over two lane mountain roads north or south to find the next traffic light.

Still, it's a little too urban for me, so I work way the hell out of town.

I miss having a bookstore around, and a big Chinese buffet. They can have the rest. I'm poor but I don't care.

It wasn't always this way:

I've gone the grueling pace that cannot last...

I've swung round to my senses, found the place where I belong;
The city made a madman out of me;
But here beyond the circle, where there's neither right or wrong,
I leap from life's strait-jacket, and I'm free.

Alright I'm with ya :P Sounds like fun! Except I've never really driven a motorbike per se, but just to be in AZ again and see the desert and the sajuaro cactus (I have a feeling I spelled that wrong but I'm too lazy to google and I guess you know what I mean).

If you like hot, dusty, beige and sage, Arizona is the place for you.
Take my state, please. *drumhit*
