For the somewhat more then two years I have had an online friend, we talk or at least say hi everyday , except if we are on holiday with family or the one time he was in hospital(his nephew sent me messages in world of warcraft to say how he was then, but he doesn't play anymore), he has a chronic illness ( and a couple of times when we argued but we could see each of us were online), on Friday he said he was feeling unwell and that his mom wanted him to go to hospital, and then he said he was just going to lay down a while because he felt sick. The only think I have heard from him since is once very late on friday night or rather early Saturday morning he sent a message of "hey, you there?" now it has been since then that I haven't heard anything , we only communicate online and although I know his name I don't know his phone number also it would be his mom's and I don't know her name, i'm very worried about how he is and I just can't seem to stay calm and not be scared he might have died and I would never know , plus I really miss talking to him. I just am not sleeping well and i don't know how to stop having scary thoughts or feeling worried. i know we just know each other online but i never had anything like this happen before. How do people deal with this kind of uncertainty?
