I just found out my young cousin died, thats 3 family members and 1 friend in 7 months, Scott died on the 12th the same day I
had to put my ferret to sleep. I didn't get a cause of death, but its thought it was drug related, I am quickly running out of family.

If you need to talk please let me know.

May your heart weep away your sorrow and your voice sing praise to your fallen family and friends - Amen

I hate threads like these, I never know what to say for fear of saying the wrong thing or sounding not sensitive. Only I can think of is:

I'm sorry to hear of such a loss in your family, I don't know what it is like to feel such loss within such a short space of time

Damn, spudnik, I'm sorry to hear that. That's a lot of deaths in a short period of time. It's especially sad seeing people die when they're young.

There's a line from Hamlet: "When sorrows come, they come not as lone spies, but in battalions."

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?
You were quiet, just like mice. And now you say that we're not nice.
Well thank you buddy for your advice...

I work at a nursing home and have had a lot of people die around me recently. It's not the same because I wanted to get into hospice work but I understand how you are feeling if you ever need to talk to someone. Last year it seemed like random people were dying too, but they weren't family members.

I'm sorry this is happening to you.

Thank you, everyone, I am doing ok today, I was having a rough time the last few days, had to go on Ativan, felt like my body was shaking apart on Sunday night, so I was out of it yesterday. My cousin had just lost his mom in February, so I think that may have contributed to his death. All these deaths have sort of put my life in prospective, its to short to waste on pointless things, like being on the computer all the time, and never joining the human race, hiding from the world. I have to make a big change and soon.

spudnik - I am sad for you. This just seems too much all at once, yes? Please take care of yourself.

Sounds like a good idea. This is why I stopped. Other than work, I only use the computer for WP and email. I feel much better for it. Take care.
