If this is in the wrong place...please move it. XD

I mean when I was growing up I didn't have much I could remember except maybe doing things with my parents. I didn't have very many friends I could rely on except for one. I've always wondered what it would be like if for once, I could actually go back to diapers to know just how it feels. That way I'll be able to say, "Oh well I remember being in diapers and I really hated it." Or something. Though, I guess if I liked being in them it'd be kind of weird, huh? I know some people with multiple disabilities probably regress at some point because could it be that they don't want to be an adult just yet? That's pretty much the way I feel because I just want to experience it for myself and never have to deal with these weird feelings.

I've always tried to wear diapers because I wore them for my period at night or around the house and sometimes I would pull them on. I always got caught for it because my parents couldn't understand why and hell, I could explain to them why I wanted to wear them in the first place. I know that it would be something they'd never be able to understand.

I mean, has anyone else ever felt like this before?

Here's the Wikipedia entry on Regression http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regression_(psychology) If I may ask what's your age. That's an interesting way of regressing IMO. IMO if you are living on your own do as you please if not perhaps at night or when your parents aren't around. :-) I'm sorry I couldn't help you much but your topic does intrigue me. :-)

You are 20 and want to wear the Depends. :-) Interesting. :-) She's taken them away. :-) (Have you considered living on your own? (I would myself at 22 but I don't have the money) Could you stash some away when you are on your period? Or buy some with your own money. (Perhaps not wear them around the house) under your clothes maybe or relaxing watching tv in your room. :-) Do it inconspicuously. Basically without her knowing. :-)

I don't have money of my own. I'm unable to get a job until I can try to earn my skills through a community college under more disability/IEP accommodations.

So what "skill" are you trying to learn from the College? Also what disability do you have if you don't mind me asking? Also with money do your parents pay for everything? You also mention your parents not understand how is this as in what have they said to you? (I assume hateful comments if so what kind?) :-)

I wonder how you got Depends then if you don't have any money? Do you earn it around the house from chores?

Your mother has no right to take them away from you since you are an adult. I would stand up to her if I were you. I would tell her "I am an adult and I can wear them whatever I want. I'm not hurting anyone." She doesn't have to buy them for you of course since she doesn't like it but if you are buying them with your own money, she can't stop you but she can threaten to kick you out if she likes. Some parents have actually done that to their kids, so they would pretend they stopped wearing them and then start again but be more careful. Mine never threatened me because they loved me too much.

It's a shame people have to be ignorant. Lot of them don't understand and that's what causes prejudice against us.

I am also into it too and have been into diapers since age 9. I used to wear pull ups on occasions when I be at my neighbors house until their kid was potty trained. I didn't start wearing until I was 17. My parents never took them away but they would have if I was younger. They said I was too young back then but was old enough to make my own decisions now. But they never supported it. My mother has tried too but she never bought them for me or anything. She just blocks it out and doesn't say much about it. her opinions about the fetish bother me so she keeps quiet about it because she knows how protective I am over the AB/DL community. She doesn't want to ruin our mother/daughter relationship so she doesn't talk about it. I can get pretty nasty when I defend the community. It's the ignorance that sets me off. The closet thing she has been supportive about it is asking me if I have any clean diapers to change into when we be heading out, pointing out to me my diapers or plastic pants are sticking out, helping me disposing my messy diaper. My mother is confusing sometimes. She hates this stuff but turned around and acted supportive about it. My ex said it was because she doesn't want me leaking all over, I think she is also trying to protect me from being made fun of, and she doesn't like the smell so she got rid of the messy diaper after I had hidden it in my aunt and uncle's closet in the bedroom I was staying in. I couldn't throw it away because there were people downstairs and I didn't want to be caught with it. Also I was afraid I get asked whats in the plastic bag and why am I going outside with it.

Now I've cut back because I wanted to make my bladder stronger again so I don't wear as much. I only use them now if I don't want to keep getting up to use the bathroom or if I am traveling or going on a long bus ride and there won't be bathrooms around. I just don't want to hold it that long. My mother said she was glad I did because they would be hard to wear during my pregnancy and I told her I would just get bigger diapers. She told me I could get a urinary tract infection and get a miscarriage. I told her I have not gotten that at all and she said you are more risk at it when you are pregnant. I think she might have been bluffing because she doesn't like me wearing them.

Wow Spokane_Girl interesting story. :-) Your mom is right about the issue of being more at risk my sister had to ask the doctor whether it was ok to take vitamin C for a cold! Also I had a fever and the following day it was gone but called my doctor to make sure I wouldn't get the baby/mom sick!! :-) Pregnancy is a big issue. You have to be very careful. :-) I'm curious why both of you would want to do that. :-) The aspect of not having to go to the bathroom sure but I was talking to another WP member and he mention sitting in your own filth. :-) Isn't that icky to you? (No offense whatever you want to do) :-) If you just urinate sure the pad sokes it up but the other is that not disgusting? When I had my medical condition Spokane I would get yeast infections bed/room would smell etc.! ! (Of course mine was a medical condition not wanting to.) LOL! Whatever you ladies like to do is ok by me but still it's interesting to thank about. :-)
