Usually I don't get really bad dreams, but when I do, I can't forget them. Usually I'm being rejected or controlled in the dream (or both), and I get quite upset because I'm reminded of my father - who did both to me.

I know exactly what you mean. I seem not to forget any dreams which are really disturbing and which ultimately expose my weakness and insecurity. Dreams in which I am rejected and controlled happens to me a lot aswell. I wish I knew what to say to help you feel better, but I don't. Just try not to let it get you down.

I don't usually have bad dreams but I did have really bad ones when I was 4/5 I can remember them.
They were reaccuring dreams about evil radio speakers shouting random things at me, I think I know why I dreamt it now, when my grandad baby sitted he turned the TV up full blast and I ended up being scared of speakers.

I have bad dreams most of the time. They usually involve a loss of control somehow. I've had bad dreams as far back into my childhood as I can remember. I wish there was some way to get rid of them. :(

I feel a bit better about it now. I just like my dreams to be abstract (which they are for the most part) so I don't get so upset when I wake up. It would be nice to have a dream instead of a nightmare every once in a while, but I don't know how likely that is.
