father is unflexible with chores

My father keeps saying he want me to walk the dog everyday even in the morning when I have school as well as the afternoon. I asked if could do weekly chores instead, but he said no. I asked if I could do it when I did not have school and he said no. There is no flexibility on this issue and it is making me go crazy. Every time I bring up a weekly chore I do wich I got to about 7 chores they do not matter The only ones he wants me to do are walking hte dog or doing the dishes which is very mentally stressing for me as I think I have excutive dysfunction.

Is there any help I can have for this as well as advice?

I'm sorry your father is acting that way. Dose he understand your dissorder?

If he doesnt then try to explain your dissorder and how it makes doing these spicific things hard. Also any info you can find on the internet to help explain it to him would help?

I hope your life gets better .

I told him and explained that it makes it hard for me to do those tasks, but he says he want me to try the dog anyway. I have already gotten him to understand dishes, but he recently said today that I am being lazy and that I am capable of doing dishes just because there was a time I had done them. The mental expense of getting them done though was very unhealthy though. He keeps thinking it is me not wanting to do it and then uses the excuse that we agreed to it to keep me doing it and that because I got upset and told him I was afraid I was going to kill the dog by forgetting to take care of him in the moring when I have school is the reason why. I am so sick of people trying to reduce the causes or pretend I do not have problems. He will not even listen to my psychologis   . To be fair though he did say that if it did not work he would not force me to do it. That still means the rest of my winter break from college is ruined though    nd I thought we had a deal with simple weekly chores. Then my mom seems to think there is something wrong with me for not being able to do the dishes

Just remember its not your fault, its just because he dosent understand.

Try looking up websites that explain your dissorder and how it can effect things that you do in everyday life. I hope it helps.

feel free to pm me any time if you ever need to vent.
