Hi, I am a long time lurker and I really need to get this off my chest..

Today I was in a great mood and went to visit an ex-teacher to catch up, The last time I visited her was half a year ago, when I had just left my second job. However my mood was totally destroyed when upon seeing me she asked if i had left my job...again. She even said to the other new teacher sitting beside her: "see?". Throughout my entire stay there for one and half hours, she kept trying to broach the topic and why I had to quit and why can't i stay in my job.

When I said I had terrible ex-bosses, she got all sarcastic and skeptical, as if she had lost all basic human respect for me. I suddenly felt as if she sees me as someone with no benefits to gain from nor was I a person who could help her current students....
but I only went back because I felt nostalgic and wanted to catch-up, not even to make use of what ever connections she got!

I can't help but feel betrayed. I had always respected her and looked up to her (and I rarely look up to anyone!). Would it kill for her to be more supportive? I don't need anyone else pointing out that i had just left my third job in 2 years, and that I'm such a loser:(

That does sound disappointing. I've had experiences like that, too. It hurts.
