I know what you mean but you seem to be really normal compared to a lot of NTs - so just enjoy it. Your "celebrity obsession" can hit anyone and there are people way weirder. Plus racers are hot as hell - so there's some cool attraction there that I wouldn't be ashamed of. I think Tony Stewart AND Jimmie Johnson are both steamy heaps of manhood. I don't even care about the team or whatever. Its all about the cutest driver.
I was obsessed with Sting when I was in high school a billion years ago when he was so young, too. I had had his picture everywhere. But he was the only one. Pretty much all the other girls were nuts over a bunch of guys - can't even remember who the teenbeat stars were then. Maybe Shaun Cassidy? All those guys were gross.
But Sting came along and he was so different - and manly and sexy. Totally different...
I got over it and since then I'll have mild crushes on random people - but I still see my peers go all crazy over guys like Keith Urban.
I had a huge crush on Dave Matthews - and then suddenly it poofed up and away. All because he was wearing this ugly shirt that made his arm look like old man arms. Huge turn off and I couldn't get that image out of my mind.
Right now - I have dualing Law & Order crushes with Vincent D'onofrio and Christopher Mellon. Christoper is slightly ahead right now. (D'onofrio got really fat!)
