I feel like I'm not experiencing life like I'm supposed to. If I'm not at school or work, I'm at home. I only have 12 hours of class a week, and I only work 3 or 4 days a week - usually short shifts. More or less, I spend a lot of time doing nothing.

I just see all these people I know doing all these things, and having all these fun experiences. They talk about them and post about them online and plan to have more. Why do I have to be so alienated? The friends I had in high school either went away to college, had babies and are doing their own thing now, or just aren't interested in seeing me anymore.

I'd like to change this, but I've yet to figure out how. I find myself becoming more and more depressed. I just can't help feeling sorry for myself! I don't want to look back on these years and have nothing significant to remember.

I just don't know what to do.

don't drink. don't hang around people who do drugs. exercise. meetup.com is great. don't worry. your life is fine. you are not missing out. work and school at your age is a big achievement already. sex is highly overrated, brother.
