I am miserable. I am miserable because there is no escape from any of those disorders. Psychiatric help does nothing for me. The drugs they give me do nothing except make me ill because of the side effects. OCD ruins anything I try and do, and it is with me every second of the day. It's enough to drive someone mad.

I used to think that having friends or a girl friend might make me happier, but then I realised I kind of find the idea of being that close to people makes me uncomfortable. It feels kind of repulsive to me in my brain.

I, like everyone else here, want a way out. But there isn't a way, when you think about it. People will not bring me joy nor will anything else really. All I want at this point in time is relief from OCD. Drugs don't work and neither does therapy. I am screwed.

I wish I had a higher pain threshold and no fear of death, so I could just douse myself in petrol and set fire to my self in the middle the shopping centre. I'd like to piss off as many people as I could. I think people who go on shooting sprees have the wrong idea. People can't feel discomfort or anger if they're dead.

Meh. Add another tally to the fed up with life list.

I've been where you are now. I desperately want to avoid being trite or clichéd here, I'll do my best. First of all, please, do. not. give. in. Even if it is simply out of spite for the cause(s) of your depression, a simple "f*ck you, two years from now I'm going to laugh in your face" attitude with middle finger raised, its something for now. How long have you been doing meds for? how long for the therapy? The first problem with these is it takes time. Not something you want to hear I know. The right meds can suppress symptons long enough for you to get a toehold in the therapy process.

I don't want to speculate as to how much pain you feel at the moment, my experience is that depression can physically HURT.

I have all 3 too, plus extreme anxiety :P
Don't let it get you down. There is little you can do about it anyway unfortunately! Try and live your life to the full, do your best to make close friends, it is really tough sometimes but sooooo worth it! Mine helped me pull through my traumatic last year when I threatened to kill myself on a weekly basis and really hurt my mum. I found therapy didn't work - I always come out more depressed and upset, talking things over with people I know, love and trust is so much better than some person you have never met before who you are telling all your secrets.
I have had some of the best times of my life in the past year, as well as the worst but I would have missed out had I continued with my death threats. I have been much happier and more outgoing and appreciate my friends more after developing a close relationship to a guy my age and that has really, really helped me, so try to go for the girlfriend thing if you possibly can, you may see it differently when it actually happens :)
Goood luck :)

PS love the name btw :) good old Kubrick and 2001 though it scares the cr*p outta me :P
