Cool...You should use them hunting...To bad that's cruel. :/

Istanbul is good to the tourist. Gets old living here...It's personal, busy, messy, loud, and full of random stuff.

I wish the animals didn't have feelings. It would be intensely fun. I used to wander the forests all day when I lived in America. I lived in Washington state. :) I love wandering alone. No people about. It's wonderful.

Today I saw my divorcing cousin's documents from court - one of the lawyers has a last name which could be translated by me as Hurt for Herself or Damage for Herself.

Aaah, how come that I could forget Mr. Palikot? :D Although I think the translation closer to the original would be Cat is Smoking (or Cat is Burning; in Polish we don't smoke a cigar but we burn it - when we want to eradicate this unhealthy habit, it's literally called that we quit burning not quit smoking :D )

No, cat is passive one! It's more like Burning A Cat
Like Mąciwoda - Waterturbider - it means person who turbids a water, water in not active. Palikot means person who burns a cat. So I think Catburner is better.

[quote="Irulan"]What are the weirdest surnames of people you know or have heard about?

My father met a man while stationed military :salut: in Thailand the 1960s whose name was (spelling may be incorrect, but the pronunciation stands) - Mr. "U Sh*t" (probably "Yu" case the first, letter 'i" obviously the missing * the latter). 8O

Also recall finding it worth a smile :) as a young man the Jewish name "Lipshitz", Mr. Eugene Lipshitz to be precise. So, as the adage nee moral this story goes: never leave home sans clean underpinnings & freshly washed breath... :wtg:

I've been taught by teachers with the surnames:
- Cumming
- Harcock
- Trott
- Seaman
- Shuttleworth
- Fortune (not funny on it's own but when you consider we called her 'Miss Fortune'...)

There are two psychiatrists in my local area called Dr Rath (pronounced exactly like 'wrath') and Dr Slaughter (don't know how his name was pronounced but I couldn't stop laughing when I read it).
My friend knows a Dr Death (it's pronounced 'deeth' though) and a Nurse Pane

I've also heard of people with the surnames Stalker, Raper, Bottom and Hiscocks

I have friends with the surnames Shattock and Tittley.

My former doctors name was Hyde, not sure if he had a partner called Dr Jekyll though.
