It's called a sort of mid life crisis. I am just saying that might be one reason why he is feeling so down.

Might have been better if (a) you were more subtle about it and (b) bothered to get some detail first.
I'm afraid I have no idea what a "sort of mid life crisis" is supposed to be - do you?

I was treated for clinical depression a few years back, along with acute anxiety. No , it's nothing to do with being 50 (I'm still waiting to grow up). I still play rugby & ride a 190+ mph bike (and use it).
It's a work related thing that's been dragging around for 18 months.

A mid life crisis is when you do something drastic like buy a sports car. It is when you are as we call it over the hill. Alot of people when they hit their mid life crisis start getting depressed so I thought that that might be what the person is feeling.

Hope you feel better Chippie. Though still don't buy a sports car to fake a mid life crisis.

I've owned and ridden powerful bikes for 30 years, (yes mate, before you were even a johnny full of Harry), the depression is part and parcel of my A.S. had it on & off for as long as I can remember, but only treated for it a little while back. So before you go casting aspersions about people and subjects about which you know nothing try using a little grey matter. Cupid Stunt.
