Yea, that never helped me either. Look at the exit sign. I sung a solo in front of a crowd of 400, and the only thing that helped me sing was not looking at the audience and staring at the exit sign.

Yea, it was last year I believe, and it was totally nerve-wrecking. Add to this, I was the first solo to go. I would have been a complete mess if I were the first to sing altogether. Luckily, it was a short , 4 line, solo, so it didn't wipe me out completely.

1. Get it over with
2. Be forgotten about by the end if you screwed up.

At college?

Na, wouldn't guess that, nor would the teacher. :roll:

For me, anyways, I don't drink. Actually, 1 of the reasons I chose my college over a state school is because people DON'T drink there.

I remember somebody telling me something about performances and the audience's memory.

Typically, when a person goes to see a show, they will remember the beginning, the end, and one thing in the middle.....THAT'S why i wouldn't want to be first. Because with that pressure, I'd surely mess up.
