I was actually pleased with myself (rarely am), what the avatar is showing that is:

It was my first three shots from my H&R single shot .44 Magnum rifle at 50 meters, standing and unsupported; it's about a 1.5 inch group (I was aiming at the pink square; I didn't realize I was using the 300 meter range setting, which is why the hits were high ).
