I feel at times this whole "Nerd Chic" fad like it objectifies me and Im not okay with that. Sure I may be just a little bit awkward but seriously. No. Im no Sheldon nor am I a Penny (Yes I do watch BBT because it's funny to me and I get the references a lot of the time), I am me.

Im okay with fashion and I get it about like 50% of the time...I mean there are some designers who have their models strut on the runway a sheet of fabric over the body to look flat..not sure of the concept trying to be communicated but it looks obnoxious.

That awkward moment when someone says that to you and you're from Portland...

It doesn't usually bother me. It only sucks when it's shoved down my throat.

Are there really people who wear big black glasses without needing to wear them for vision problems?

Absolutely. Isn't that crazy!?! What's next? Souped-up wheelchairs as modes of transportation? Hearing aids in fashion colors? Teeth braces you can take on and off? Wait...they already have those. They're called "grilles".

Which is more asinine?

Non nerd girls conforming to the nerdchick fad?

Or a real nerd chick getting upset about it?
