What immunizations have you received?

These are the ones I had; I think maybe there were more; I dunno which ones are said to cause autism or why.

Measles-chicken pox
Hepatitis B (*3)
meningitis (2)
DiptheriaPolioTetanus (4)
MeaslesMumpsRubella

I believe my son is vaccine damaged.At age 40,I had a bay girl.I havn`t vaccinated her,and I breastfed her.She shows no signs of autism.My som had febrile seziures at around age 4 months,reflux,cronic loose stools,Frequent infections,malabsorbtion problems,can`t get weight on him.No one can tell me that the vaccines do not at least contribute to autism.My 2 year old daughter has not been to the Dr. for anything,but well baby check ups.I think that there are more things that contribute to autism,such as endocrine problems,lymes disease,herpes virus,the live measle virus in the gut and bowel of the kids that were vaccinated,parasites,food allergys,candida.No way I would vaccinate another child.My son is 13,and has the mentality of a 2 year old.Non verbal,behavior problems.I have an older daughter that maybe an aspie like me.

With the exception of the measles-mumps-rubella shot, (already had those diseases so I acquired natural immunity)
I had all the other inoculations including smallpox and polio.
I get a flu-shot every year that it is available.
By the way the hypothesis that vaccines cause autism has never been proven.

The only one I specifically remember was tetanus. I know I have vaccinations for everything, though, I just can't remember the details.

I had chicken pox very young (1st birthday present from my sister), so I never needed the vaccination.

Richie is right. Vaccines causing autism is a 'theory' cooked up by crazy people.

This "vaccines cause autism" business is an invention of a British doctor who has been expelled from the profession for unethical research methods.

hayleyscocoabear, is your child on a special diet? I worked at an autism camp last summer and some of the children were on like a cassien/gluten free diet.

I note here that refusing to to have a child vaccinated is just plain stupid, and very dangerous. Do look at the measles stats for the UK as an interesting example.

The autism/vaccination link is based entirely on a hypothesis that has since been falsified.

I hear you can request mercury free vaccines, or have them spread out more, not so many at once or so close together.

I've had MMR, DPT, and Hep B. Flu vaccine every year.

Babies in my area (maybe 2/year in this county, on average) die of whooping cough because so many of the locals have bought into the vaccines = bad myth.

If you don't vaccinate your children, you are relying on the herd immunity of the children who are vaccinated to keep the risk of disease relatively low. That can fail catastrophically in areas where large numbers of children are unvaccinated.

I've had all of those and more and so have my siblings. I have AS they are NT. I've researched both sides of the vaccine-causes-autism controversy and have to agree with the view that vaccines do not cause autism. However, to answer your question the main ones the proponients site are MMR and DTP though Hep-B is often brought up as well.

Hep-B is a good one to have if you do contact sports or martial arts. I'm going to ask my GP for it. Studies have shown you don't need a cut yourself to get it. Just blood, etc rubbing on the surface, which happens quite a lot.

The only vaccine I've ever had was an obligatory MMR I took this spring. Before that, my parents had always gotten me exempted from shots, citing "religious reasons." The real reason was that they bought into the whole spiel about vaccines causing autism.

Funny... I never had my shots as a child, and it looks like I may have still come out with an ASD.
