Indiana Jones. Because he travels to remote places, is passionate about his interests, likes wearing hats, doesn't talk lots, and makes plenty of mistakes. Also, the films are very funny :D

I'm obsessed with men. Wish I wasn't - wish I was more obsessed with music or objects or facts or numbers or whatever. But I can't help what I get obsessed with, and it's men. Well, it's mostly bus-drivers. I get so obsessed that I want to be like them, and I want to be part of their life, and I want to copy whatever they do. When I fancied a coach-driver when I was on holiday, I fancied him so much that I developed this annoying obsession where I started to hate being me. Boring, shy, unconfident me. I want to be like him: witty, confident, good job, good-looking, loves his life, and lives on one of the British isles, where I'd love to live. But I'm not him, I can't be him, I will never be him, and I'm stuck as my boring unconfident self, in my boring rut, surrounded by rough cockneys who think that drinking alcohol is more important than getting yourself a good job.

I'm obsessed with The Kinks, becaise they were the first group that I was able to recognize on the radio. That group who recorded all those songs about London and England, my two other obsessions. Another reason is because I also liked their early songs from an early age. I'd also like to feel free to post about them, as often or as little as I wish, without being judged by people who's special interests aren't so intense. Thank you for letting me share all of this with you.

Peace

As I've undoubtedly said many times already on this site: I'm obsessed with languages. I love learning them and learning about them. 8) Why? Because it's just so fun for me to study them and speak them, and get involved in other cultures.

Helena Bonham Carter. She's beautiful, unique, sensual, funny, and a great actress.

I am currently obsessed with:

The King's Speech

Mercedes-Benz Automobiles

Vacuums, Kirby in particular

Women, all types, easily given to crushes, not easily given to talking with them

Ebay

Socks

Up coming surgery.

Why to all: because I am.

Anything that interests me on an intellectual level, i want to study and dissect.

I have made a conscious thought to not dissect rock, ska, metal music because i want to enjoy it. And i do, i don't want music from Frank sinatra to reel big fish snatched out of my grasp because of a few weeks of study. I would do it to. Darn my analytical mind.

REPTILES!! ! - because they're awesome and interesting.

And lately i've been a little obsessive about Portal 2, since it just came out not long ago. I keep quoting from it.

Menstruation - I find it interesting both in terms of biology and socially.

Hearts - I like the symbolism, I find love to be beautiful intangible thing.

Alan Cumming - he's plain lovely on every level, especially as Nightcrawler.

The colour red - favourite colour, I'm attracted to all things red.

Cupcakes - because they're cute and pretty, plus very yummy of course.

Bento - also as they're cute and pretty, plus creative to make.

Cats - because they're lovely animals, also again; cute and pretty.

Etsy.com - I like crafty things and the many wonderful things on the site, plus I like shopping.

Penpals - the idea appeals and I look at penpal sites, but never managed to have one myself.

Biochemistry - It's a great perspective on life (I'm comfortable in saying I have the answer to one of those early childhood Big Questions, what is life?), and there's something poetic about the idea that the tricarboxylic acid cycle cracks carbon skeletons to make C02, don't ask why.

Nucleotide Chemistry is particularily interesting, there's a real nice overlap between Genetics, Biochemistry, and Evolution in this field.

Evolution - I love the picture of life as being a self replicating divergent pattern. Again, very poetic.

Philosophy of Science - I find the philosophy of science to be very interesting; it deals with epistemology, and skepticism in interesting ways. I love Science with Philosophical Implications; Godel's Theorems and Libet's Experiments.
