http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061027/od_ ... coke1_dc_1

Quote:
Abel Gonzales, 36, a computer analyst from Dallas, tried about 15 different varieties before coming up with his perfect recipe -- a batter mix made with Coca-Cola syrup, a drizzle of strawberry syrup, and some strawberries.

Balls of the batter are then deep-fried, ending up like ping-pong ball sized doughnuts which are then served in a cup, topped with Coca-Cola syrup, whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a cherry on the top.

Sounds like a delicious and nutritious food! :P

Deep-frying. Coca-Cola. Whipped cream. Talk about 8 million ways to die. Does it come with a side of bacon and some of that E. coli spinach?

This gave me an idea. Do you think it's possible to deep-fry blood?

Oh christ, I can feel my arteries hardening just reading about it.
And I want it.

Why is it that all the food that tastes good is bad for us? And all the food that's good for us, either tastes like crap or can-taste-ok-with-a-lot-of-work/seasoning?
I hate that.

BRING ME COW!

My arteries are pulsating out of fear. :) But I wonder how it would taste with my favorite cola, RC Cola, in place of the Coke.

That sounds gloriously unhealthy. I'd like to try an Ulster fry one day, as that sounds like it's in much the same vain.
