I saw that there were no threads like this, so I thought I'd start one! This is the place to post what you dreamt about last night. You can either describe the dream in great detail, or summarise it in word, it's up to you. Mention anything really odd in the dream - the odd parts are always the best!
I'll start:
For some reason I was in the state of Georgia (I've never been to the United States in real life) which for some reason looked more like coastal southwestern France. I was with some people from school who I haven't seen in years. The people I was with ended up disappearing at some point and became my family on my dad's side. At one point I had to run across a highway and almost got hit by a huge truck.
Everything was very vivid and detailed. I don't know why but recently all my dreams have been like that

In my dream I was having an exam very soon for which I hadn't studied at all. I knew I was going to fail in it and was very disappointed at myself.

This is a recurring dream that I've had more than 10 times.

I was somewhere, I don't know where, but it was in a street. There was about to be a riot and police were everywhere with riot gear.

Somehow in the middle of the dream I'm on some type of game show or at least, partiipating in some type of game, in which, a long, long bed with a cloth over it, is the surface for this game. The game was? Each person had to roll a rock end over end from one end of that bed to the other end. First one to the other end, won the game.

Then, I woke up.

Yeah, I have some weird dreams.

Thanks for your replies, everyone. I was hoping that this would actually become something big but like so many threads it's just going to die quietly.

I dreamt that I looked out of the window into the garden and saw a dead fish and a man lying next to a bike. He'd clearly just fallen off. So I went outside. As I walked closer, one of my aunt's friends ran towards me and shouted, 'I think we need a defibrillator! Just wait there!' He returned with one, and crouched next to the man, but to my surprise he didn't use it. He looked around, picked up the fish, placed it in front of him, and used the defibrillator on the fish!

I don't remember what i dreamed about last night - actually i very rarely remember my dreams for long after having woken up.

But there is a dream i used to have a lot as a kid (from i was 5 till i was about 7)which i remember some parts of - it would always start with me finding myself in an old unfamiliar house. I'd be there alone, and just stand there for a while with panic slowly growing. Then i started hearing footsteps from the outside running towards the house. Next i find whoever i am in the dream (since I see everything from regular eye perspective) making my way down a corridor, and into a weird room. There i start feeling at the bottom of the wall, to then reveal that there is a hidden hatch camouflaged into the wall and upon opening it, inside a long and narrow crawling corridor there - i crawl into it, lock the wall behind me to then make my way further into it...

..At the end of the corridor i find myself crawling into a new room filled with a couple of old toys, and some canned food on a few shelves on the wall. I sat down holding my arms firmly around a teddy bear, and for a while i just sat there observing the sounds whoever where in the house made. the last thing I remember is a loud thud, some footsteps, a few taps on the wall, and then the sound of someone opening the hatch to the place where I was hiding. I remember a strong feeling of dread while this occurred, which made me cling onto the teddy bear even more. Next i know i closed my eyes, and heard whoever they were closing up on me - to then all of a sudden before getting to know who they where waking up from the dream. The strange thing is the dream always started and finished the exact same way, and the plot never changed a bit..

Yesterday I dreamed I had a lengthy meeting in which I was negotiating the terms in a contract. My brain is weird.

That's interesting.

I used to frequently dream about being in an old run down shack house that had a hidden passage or crawl space. When I found it I would go through and emerge in another house that was all made of stained wood that was very polished. I had the impression both houses existed in the same space in some weird way. Or maybe the run down shack was an illusion.

For some reason your description of moving down a passage makes me think of it. This was a recurring dream for me at about the same age.

I used to have a recurring dream when I was a similar age. What happened in the dream would always vary a little, but there was always a derelict railway shed filled with a faint green light. It was incredibly detailed for a dream - I remember there were cobwebs and such dotted around. It's weird how our minds come up with these sort of things in our dreams

I don't generally sleep enough to dream. I take a series of very short naps adding up to a few hours each day. lol Very occasionally, I'll sleep enough to dream and when I do HOLY COW are they vivid. Most of them are nightmares, though, and really pretty icky so I won't pollute this very nice thread with possible trigger stuff.

About the house/passage dreams:

That's actually kinda classic dream material. Some people think that the house you dream about and revisit in your dreams is you. Like, the real you. The rooms have memories in them and depending on what room you're in it's a different part of yourself. I used to dream about my house a lot more when I was younger but I rarely do anymore.

Used to have terrible nightmares about being trapped in my own house's basement. All the repressed stuff is down there, classically. :/

What's your take on the theory, house-dreaming people? Is your house you in your recurring dream? :D
