I get the distinct impression that I put a bit of a fright into the locals!! !

A middle aged bloke on his roof at evening, flying a kite ! ! Playing Coonie Francis tunes on a turntable whilst watching a ballgame.! ! Admiring someone's doggie and giving it a backrub!! !

My oh my but NT's scare easily ! !!

I think I'll sharpen the spikes on my fence 'ala Gomez Addams ! !!

This is, in fact, why I adore you.

Aside: Having a sharp mind can also be a weapon! heh heh

Nope, my neighbors won't take any of that from me. At school, though? So many fun people to freak out! (poke, poke)

One time there were these very religious neighbours and they thought that I was possessed by the devil
I don't know why though. :?

Ive said innapropriate things before in my yard when Im not aware that one is near by. Thats scared some of them before. Most of the time they feel scared just from seeing me because I dont appear to be happy I guess. Then again I come off as strange to everyone I meet so I dunno.

Hahahahaha
Yep, I do that fairly regularly and am only alerted to the fact that my neighbour has heard me when she goes back in her house and slams the door

I don't have any contact with my neighbours so I don't know what they think of me.

However, I do have quite a few stick figures hanging in my garden (like those in the Blair Witch) because I like them, which could explain why the neighbours' kids no longer play in front of my house.

But of course, my dear. I charm the ladies most everywhere I go.
I ask them "care to fly kites on my roof and toss back a dram of Old Pekulier"?
Gets them every time.

Never scared my neighbors but I scared my ex-boss once. I was off ill with a head cold so I sent him an email to let him know.

I find a felling ax and two pit bull terriers works for me... Why do I wish I was joking?... Don't worry people, got a home visit from a newly qualified twentysomething shrink tomorrow, who thinks AS work will be an easy ride compared to an acute ward. Now the importent question, what will give the best edge? Diamond file or Carborundum stone...

My neighbors probably think I'm nuts, but they would never say it to my face.

 what timing you have!

Two days ago, one of the neighbors walked to the front of my house (staying on the sidewalk), and started hollering, "YOOHOO!", "HELLOO", "HELLO THERE".

I wasn't in the mood to talk with anyone so I just kept out of sight of the windows and got a good laugh out of it.
I have no idea what in the world she would want talk with me about, especially from the 'safety' of the sidewalk!

Never had that before.

Once when I was attending the College of Oceaneering (sounds impressive... huh? It was just a commercial dive{hardhat diving} school) in Wilmington, CA (L.A. harbor), I rented an apartment with 3 other students out in Long Beach.
The landlord was a real flake (known quite well by the court system for always taking her renters to court it seems  ).

When we were ready to move out, the landlord started pulling her tricks on us.
Back in those days, I rode a Harley, had a beard, and the whole biker thing going.
I'd just sit on the front steps of this apartment complex and wait until the handyman brought around a potential renter.
Sometimes my appearance would be enough to give them pause, sometimes I'd strike up a conversation with the person about various things to include the landlord and her 'boys'.

It got to the point where the landlord's handyman asked one of my co-renter buddies to please stop me from hanging out in the front, as I was affecting their ability to attract new renters

That was the whole idea of it! It's nice when something goes right! :P

All I had to do was divulge being a witch and the neighbors (mostly Jehovah's Witnesses) began putting up crosses in their windows.

Nah. I prefer standing out on the entry way semi clothed (wearing sandles only) and begin chanting some nonsense/not meaning anything, moving my arms in a circular pattern. Ending the whole thing be saying "So mote it be"
