Tattooing my whole head purple sounds like an awesome thing to do.

I don't see how a cure could be a bad thing. I mean, your social skills would improve, you could read between the lines a lot better, and you most likely wouldn't get harrassed as much. What's wrong with that?

You can keep your cure. AS is not what holds me back in life. It is lack of funds and my own irrationalities. If anything, AS is an asset for me. I have all the social skills I need. :D

I'm proud of who I am, not because I have AS. Just because I have AS does not mean that I have to define myself by it. But I don't flaunt my AS either. Of course, I have overcome the aspects of AS that hindered me the most. It's a shame that there aren't more social skills groups for everyone. The one I go to has really helped me a lot. While I still lack in some, I have all the social skills I need. If every mental health clinic offered these groups then there would be a lot less aspies without social skills. As for other difficulties with AS, they can be dealt with too, maybe even put to good use.

Symptoms of AS can be overcome and that is something to be proud of. AS does not have to be the hindrance that most people think it is.

exactly. three years ago i hadnt a clue AS even existed. i had to come to terms with being a TOTAL weirdo, and finally i saw all the good in it: i observe more, analyze more, i simply find myself seeing the clarity in things, more than other people, over and over again. i would never cure myself, and end up RUNNING after a football or DANCING at a party and stuff. all the stuff "normals" do that i dont, i just squint at. the only thing theyre BETTER at is conforming and getting chicks.
i wouldnt trade myself off for anything

i would rather eat teeth! B)

I want to go a fight against that silver-back gorilla!

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be "cured". It would kill my identity. There are a lot neurotypicals, I think the world needs aspies too.
