People are being supportive of my goal to write a novel in a month (basically NaNoWriMo, only in January instead of November). I was expecting to get a torrential downpour of "that's so stupid"s and "You'll never be able to make it"s, but everyone in my life both online and off has been really nice about it. I feel a lot more confident knowing that so many people have my back. And, it's a good motivator for me to finish, because I don't want to disappoint everyone. :)

I know I am living under a rock but I just read that Cat Stevens is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland. My Mother introduced me to his music when I was six and I have been a fan ever since.
