Oh yes, many times. I always won at Monopoly.

Do you like board games in general?

Not terribly. Chess, Scrabble and Risk are decent ways of passing the time, though.

If you could meet three historical figures for a conversation, whom would you choose?

I love board games.

What is your favourite board game?

What do you think of Twilight?

The movie was not as bad as I expected. Not really worth watching again, though.

I can't speak for the books, as I've never read them.

Do you read a lot of fiction?

No. I generally prefer watching movies.

Have you ever won something in an online auction before?

Yes, an internet auctioneer's gavel.

What's the first useful piece of advice you can think of?

How many rulers do you own? Yes, rulers.

2... I think. A regular 12" ruler and broken 6" plastic one.

What is the most disgusting sound you have ever heard?

Once had a roommate bumping uglies with his girlfriend in the partially filled bathtub... even through the door the effect from the water was indescrible....

The three historical figures I'd choose are Tesla, Einstein, and Feynman..

What is the greatest example of the human spirit you have personally witnessed?

On a trip to the beach that took place when we were both twelve, an old friend slipped on some seaweed and fell into the river.
Some old man who was out dog-walking came along and pulled her out with his lead.

Needless to say, my town is small and woefully uneventful.

What is the greatest example of human malevolence you have personally witnessed? :P

The 2nd plane crashing into the WTC. I was on the ground walking to work. I was looking at the towers with everyone else in Manhattan. We didn't know it was a plane at first. We just saw the explosion because we were on the north side of the buildings. I'll never forget the sound. And the silence that followed on the street. And then the sirens. I vow never to hate anyone ever again because that's what hate leads to.

What was your last act of generosity?
