When you actually do the research, everything secretly sucks.

If I got any social references, yes, like most aspies', it's through observation and explicit explanations.
But the 'hows' are different. I do not emulate my 'social models'.

Instead, I study their 'systems', concepts deeper than masking. These people are networkers, they got charm, and they have nurturing abilities -- they do not have to change drastically or god forbid rehearse conversations to be sociable.
They can and know how to manipulate, they 'manage' people. They are reliable and competent in their own right. They also have morals and standards that I could attest.

The social lessons of my choice is past through the idea of what a 'polite and sociable person' is because I want authenticity above else. I would've if it weren't for my nature though -- because I am not a 'polite and sociable person' unless that what I really want to represent myself as.
The lesson includes the ideas of negotiation, mediation, networking, 'favors', cross-cultural referencing, wisdoms of timing (as opposed to 'quips' and scripting), social atmosphere reading (as opposed to one person body language reading), tonal and body language 'flow' (as opposed to mimicry), capturing scales and layers of social pictures (as opposed to reacting on quips/situations), deeper concepts of charisma (as opposed to simply being trendy and copying socially successful people) and so forth...

On August 8th, 1985 at Carlsbad Raceway the Mugen Honda CR-X GT4 car scored both pole position and an overall win. GT-4 is the bottom category, GT-1 is the top. So basically the CR-X with a 1500cc engine beat two cars with 5700cc engines, a 3000cc Ferrari and 2000cc and 1600cc Datsuns.

Not sleeping well as my sleeping pattersn are all over the place after staying awake with the stress of the job which finished last thursday, and also, since then, as my mind has been very active at odd hours, I have used it to type in here rathwr then lying down in bed with an active mind.
But eventually my sleeping patterns will fit themselves in to where they're supposed to be. When I left the railway back over a decade ago which had shifts going right round the clock and back, and nearly every day ones shift would have a different start and finish time, it took me six months before I could sleep more then about four to six hours without getting up, and it took about a year and a half before I could say that my sleeping patterns were right. I could not use the excuse of being on the internet keeps me awake because I wasn't on yhe internet in those days!
