I wish I could think that way. Problem is that the jacket is black, and the buttons are supposed to stay black, but if the paint keeps coming off (which it will - it was flaking), they'll be steel coloured, which would contrast to the black and look terrible. I can't use a simple pen, either, to paint them, as that'll come off and get stuck on my fingers... unless there are special pens, suitable for metal, that don't do that, maybe?

Ironically, I don't even want it to look new. I want it to look used. But the colour of the buttons must stay black, or I might as well stop using it. =_=

I can't tell what the buttons look like... my paranoia tells that that could reveal my identity, to someone random who maybe is watching my posts. They are round, though, in matte black, and carry the brand logotype.

I agree with Titangeek. Just get different but similar buttons. You don't have to post a picture if you don't want. I was just thinking maybe we could get you similar ones online. I oddly enough know too much about buttons... But even if they are different, just get other cool black buttons. Don't throw it out.

I don't ever throw things away. I'm the ultimate kind of collector; if I am not to keep something, I'd better never get it. I'd also feel guilty about not using it, anymore, as I tend to get emotional attachments to things. The buttons can't be replaced, though... I have to paint them, somehow. :|

All that time that I've been b digging up cans this morning when I could have been at home posting on WP and listening to The Kinks. I've nearly passed out when I walked into my apartment. Three hours is a bit long to be walking around. I'm taking a break from that "Second Job" that I've been "going to" until the kids are back at school. When the kids are in school, I plan to wait for the bell at one school to go off, pick all the cans and bottles off the ground, than go to the next school and do the same thing.
