Childhood right before the first day of school began. I was bright-eyed, inquisitive, and excitable. I found school to be a bewildering and confusing place that slowly altered my personality into someone that tried to use reasoning to figure people out. I changed some since then, but I have never recaptured that initial zest for life.

I once had a cat who had three of them. Since it was close to Christmas, we named them Holly, Jolly, and Jingles.
