I just had lunch with the girlfriend. She is showing concern about me, although I don't feel as though there is any need for concern right now, I feel wonderful.

I rediscovered MIT open courseware while watching a lecture on Research Cannel. Maybe tomorrow I will be courageous and watch one of its courses!

I don't mind my boss telling me something to do on the job (if it is reasonable) since I am being paid a salary to do it. But, for the things I do voluntarily, I sometimes don't like being told to do something. For example, I just joined an organization where they tell you you don't have to do much of anything---just pay your dues which I did. Now, they are putting pressure on me to attend this and that and this and that, and help out with this and help out with that. In something voluntary like this group, I feel I have the right to do what I am comfortable with, and not do what I am not comfortable with. What they want me to do is a very socializing type of activity---I don't plan on doing that. I am awkward with socializing. Anyway, that is one random truth about me.

I keep gagging because I went to the dentist this morning and he worked on the teeth in the very back of my mouth. Normally gagging causes me to panic, but I feel strangely calm about it.

Yeah. Today I am happy. I watched two physics course lectures on MITopencourseware. I also took notes. 33 lectures to go now. So far so good. In fact it looked just the same thing we studied in economics. LOL! I will read my notes tomorrow morning. I plan one day return to university and study physics. But right now I´m not ready for that yet (depression).
