Are there certain words you just cant stand?

The words that comes out of my Mum's mouth.

I hate all val-speak phrases. ("... and I was like totaly, you know!")

I *hate* the word ephemeral. It's only used by pseudo-intellectuals pretending to be actual-intellectuals

I don't like the word "precious" expecially when referring to me....at 32 years old. Urg.

I dont like the useage "wise" when combined with another word because the person speaking it has such a limited vocab they have to combine words with wise to describe what they are saying. This never bothered me until I met a man whose every other word was "likewise"

other than those, I dont have too many word peeves

But my favorite word is yazer. I made it up.

meh and lol, abbreviations and such but I can't stand them.

honey & sweetie for, I find these rather annoying in that, I'm not 19yrs old even if I could pass for it facial age wise, it bothers me for others to treat me as, something sort of teenager or such..
