this powerchair would be perfect for if and when the army or any armed forces start drafting mobility impared, put armer on all sides, you have a one man tank

the problem is id drive mine all the way off the map hehehe... get out of war with a nice little one man tank and gatling gun :D

would make great for "self defense"

If you want to, you can Photoshop a power-chair-related thing for me. Could the theme be reptiles? Is there a way to incorporate reptiles into a power chair? Maybe snakes on a power chair?

hehehe... centrifugal force is great in a powerchair hehe... and talk about little speed machines with 7.5 miles per hour power, although it might seem slow for road travel off road at those speeds is fast, especially for being heavy duty high torque motors. high speed motors wont give you as much torque but i think theres some aftermarket motors for powerchairs that will get you up to 15.0 MPH. mind you any time you reach 15.0 your havin 15.0 miles per hour of G-Force going right into you everywhere, no windshield like a motorcycle just straight on G-Force... i like G-Force though but dont have the money for those aftermarket motors he he....

hehe... yes it is possible for me or one of my other photoshop crew to make you a reptilian powerchair... i would like you to head over to The Photoshop Thread HERE http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt52390.html and post a request... that way all of my photoshop buddies can collaborate on this... im good at actual retexturization of the powerchair but they will have to handle putting the snakes in ;) i think you would like one of your little baby snakes wrapped around your headrest mount rubbing its head on your neck he he :)

your powerchair photoshopping is complete!! !

Image

behold!! ! a reptilian powerchair!! !

Thanks! And I'll take the model without the gun, but with the snakes.

Yay! I cranked out another little photoshopping today. This one involving Motion Concept's lateral tilt system!

That lateral tilt seems unsafe. Lean on the wrong button and you could find yourself dumped on the floor. :(

Werbert, that is a actually a good remark, and i have the perfect counter remark, each users powerchair is programmed for their center of gravity, there is a hard limit safety mechanism that will not let that happen, the lateral tilt will only go so far before it cuts off to prevent any unintended result.

So each is each cair custom-built?

Here's another question. Let's say you wanted to go offroading, let's say on a hike. Would you need some more wheels for stabilization, or would the center of gravity be low enough that you wouldn't tip over upon encountering a sharp turn?

"most" not all powerchairs are custom... the ones we speak of here the high end types are custom made for each user... i cant wait to get mine, actually will be one of the first thingys made custom for me. :D

off roading on rocky trails is not recommended... sharp turns are no problem at 80% throttles however can cause POSSIBLE problems with lateral tilt systems at lower speeds... it is never recommended you take too sharp a turn at any throttle above 50% due to the possibility of you getting knocked out of correct positioning which would screw up the center of gravity (CoG) and cause a tip over accident...

So I guess you would need something like a chair mounted on a tank to not tip over while hiking. You need a monster powerchair. ;)

You really know your stuff. Have you ever thought about becoming a powerchair salesman?
