More Chardonnay and Bucks Fizz. Asda seems to have reduced the price of the former from £4.50 to £4.25.

I've gotten quite fond of Gin Mules lately.
They're refreshing.
Looking forward to the ultra cheap alcohol when we're in the UK.

Ultra cheap alcohol dans la UK? Serieusement?

The cheapest drinkable wine here is £4-£5 per 750ml bottle. When I was in Italy and Spain a few years ago, the same product was available for the equivalent of around £1.50

We have a tax on alcohol at the rate of $100.05 per litre.
The third highest alcohol tax in the world.
A pint of decent beer can be $15.

I like that pink gin and prosecco cocktail. And they put a splash of lemonade in it as well. It's so refreshing but quite strong.

Had a corona w/ lime hours ago and just drank a pina colada hey y’all (vodka iced tea) - pretty tasty.

Probably have another beer or two tonight. Hanging out with the artist while he paints a big canvas for me.

Some of my pub friends are going down the coast to Portsmouth for a piss up this Saturday

No doubt they will get lost or rub up the locals in the wrong way.

I'm trying out another of Aldi's top shelf premium quality wines. This time it's Pouilly-Fumé, a French white wine on offer at £8.99 (usually £12.99). It's not bad, very mellow with no bitterness or sharpness, a bit bland to be quite honest.

Just finishing a bottle of Pouilly-Fuissé from Aldi (£9.99, reduced from £19.99). To my surprise, this has no relation to the Pouilly-Fumé I bought last night, and is in fact from a completely different region of France. This stuff's made from Chardonnay grapes and is very pleasant to drink, but I'm afraid I can't afford to buy it on a regular basis.

Having a corona w/ slice of lime with the artist. There’s only one left - if he wants it he can have it. I’ll have a whiskey later. 8)
