Sipping a can of lime soda water that I splashed some cheap (but Good) whiskey in and feeling about the best I have allll day.

Not so much because I’m having a drink lol but because in the last half hour The Artist got down to real work and is making progress every 10 minutes. I’ve been here like 6 days and 4 nights over the last week - I came a couple days ago, this is currently the 3rd night in a row.. I haven’t left. I took naps sitting on an uncomfortable chair leaning against a wall.. just keeping tabs on the canvas and project, saving driving time and gas money bringing it back each night. Fully committed all in to get this crazy artist to complete this 5’x4’ original painting as a very special group 40th birthday gift for a member of the beach community.

I splashed a couple ounces of whiskey in the artists rootbeer. Can’t hinder him at all considering all the other substances/mystery substances he’s on. Art comes from some crazy, but also very cool, places. Getting work out of this character is an adventure in crazytown.. no sane person would hang out in this ghetto around the clock waiting for a painting. For real - most people would be frightened or grossed out to be here. It’s a zoo for the chemically insane.

Went to the pub last night feeling chilled out. The plan originally was to have 1 pint an hour but again I got this urge to drink my pints at a faster pace.

 well I think we can all do that. As long as you didn't come to any harm that's what matters

I just can’t believe I am incapable of making a pint of lager last an hour

It’s not exactly rocket science

You said you made your pints last 35-45 mins. That’s hardly fast

I don't think that's particularly fast for lager.

My daughter likes the espresso martinis. She just knocks them back in one go

From experience what dates in the month do people go out to pubs the least?

I'm not a leading authority on pubs Jamesy but I've been out on a Monday and it was pretty much empty in my local. I think that's why some pubs offer incentives for people to go in.

Is it true the weekends in the middle of the month tend to be more quiet?

I am thinking of perhaps cutting out the odd weekend here and there. Recently I have decided for the most to stop going out on Fridays to try and be healthier.
