Quite a bit.. but.. surely I'm no expert on René Descartes. Um, he was French born, moved to Holland in 1629 at 33 years of age, stayed in the then going liberal and tolerate climate here for p/m 20 years (made trips to France, England, other places during that time though)..

Um, 'cogito ergo sum'.. 'I doubt/think, thus I am'.. 'discours de la méthode'.. My words, my interpretation.. 'I, throw away.. everything that's doubtful.. and try to build my philosophy on.. things that are certain, undoubtedly not pushed over.. ' Well, me again.. no doubt he bridged a gap.. lit fire, perception-wise, those days, being a renaissance thinker.. but.. his conclusion.. god is, a-to-z, all.. he'd reading..

.. blahiah, lots..

Well again.. above 'low-life' mr. Newton, below 'genius' Einstein, he stands, I say..

Which old Greek philosopher introduced 'hedonism'?

Hmmm...I am curious as to the answer. Epicurus and the Cyrenaics after Aristippus of Cyrene are the most well-known hedonists, but I believe Democritus was the first. :?:

Do you, next poster, know the answer?

Nah, I had little trouble subduing it so that I could sew it to my feet.

Do you prefer your fairy tales dark or cheerful?

Fairy tail experiences are always cheerful from what I hear.

That I'm an ordinary person who has my share of problems, like everybody else in the world.

Same question

I am not much of a breakfast person, unless I am making it for someone else I usually skip it. I will eat something like toast with melted peanut butter on it and a glass of OJ if I need quick energy. I should probably learn to eat a nutritious breakfast.

Why do you take the time to answer my silly questions?

Because my questions are more silly than yours.

Have you been to prison?

I drink either Pickwick's Earl Grey or it's English blend.
