leaving behind my backpack. when i returned 5 hours later it was gone. i knew where i left it. i did not take it onto the bus.

there are a million things i would rather lose, than what was inside my backpack. Book 6: Remember. Book 3: Glimpse du Nord. my salvaged pencils and pens. my erasers. my work. my books. my ideas. my conlang notes. my maps. wziel. fold out map of hanow, over a year and a half in the making. the journal of my dreams from 2 years ago. WHY???

Have you tried therapy/counseling? I know I just go around in unproductive circles without some professional help.

Kip, are you rather forgetful? I think I've seen your posts like this one before. Or maybe it was someone else and I forgot who that was.

Thank you for asking. "Going around in unproductive circles" sounds familiar. I tried some psychologists and psychiatrists before about OCD and anxiety but they were mostly incompetent and dismissive. But now that I know I'm autistic, I might be able to find a better-informed therapist. And I'm in the process of doing just that.

I'm sorry you lost all your possessions. I know if I lost my books and magazines it would be, for me anyway, like losing a member of my family. :oops:

Well, apparently I'm extremely wrong for being so fond of Disney cartoons and movies because someone else on WP posted about how so many of their movies are based on books - Nooo! Really!? :roll: And then other people said how the stories are "dumbed down" for children and other junk.

I've read a lot of the original stories that were made into Disney Adaptions like Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid and even Pinocchio, but I still love the Disney versions. The characters, the animation, the music... they brought the stories to life!

I shouldn't care what people say, but people saying negative things about everything made by Disney - it makes me depressed. In fact I'm crying right now. Maybe I should get out my Disney Fairy dolls, or something...

I like Disney's "Alice in Wonderland". What is wrong with making a film from a book?

Anyway, I am dreading the coming hot and humid summer. Knowing it is on its way made me UNHAPPY today.

YES!! !! !!

it is incredibly annoying...i am very lucky that every time i leave home and forget my bike keys, the art room by my usual parking space is open, and i can keep it in there. otherwise i will have to really place some trust on y classmates, that they don't swipe it. i doubt they'd notice that it wasn't locked, if the lock wasn't coiled around the headset like it usually is, and thus in plain sight.

anyway i found my backpack :D untouched and in that same art room.

when i would bring up the subject of AS with any of my therapists, they'd be quick to change the subject so i soon leaned to not bring it up at all. :| i hope you find a good one soon enough.

_______

what made me unhappy. what made justkillingtime unhappy, made me unhappy. i hate heat. i hate humidity. i have having to be topless with a fan handy to keep cool. *savors the present moment of being in a beanie and not sweating oceans*

^ I'm glad that you found it. It must be a big relief.

~~~~
What made me unhappy today:
1. I really wanted to just stay home for the whole day today but I really needed olive oil and had to go to the shop.
2. At the shop I found out that they had stopped selling yellow grapefruits. They'd been the only one that sold them. Now I don't know where I can find them.
3. I bought a promising-looking half rock melon there. I just ate some of it and it was pretty horrible.
I missed the deadline for a quiz I was supposed to write for my online math course, because I fell asleep early yesterday evening. f**k my sleep schedule.
I think public transport is for losers. There is so much human rubbish on the trains and buses. They are loud, stinky, leave part of themselves (rubbish) behind and harass other passengers. Those non-trash people on public transport are also losers because they have to share the space with the human rubbish.
I agree.
