I have some avatars of Mick Avory and The Kinks with Mick at a slightly smaller size on hold for use at a later date, along with the ones that I'm using now. I plan to lose at least 50 lbs between January 1st and next New Year's Eve. I'm really excited about this.

Update: I didn't see The Tourist today. Instead I went to a little $2 theater to see Inception. The movie was fantastic; definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen that didn't involve Tim Burton or Johnny Depp. Scratch that; it was one of the best movies I've ever seen full stop.

Originally just my best friend and I were going to go, but she brought her boyfriend along too because she didn't have the time or gas to drive him all the way back to where he lives. They couldn't keep their hands off each other the whole time. It made me really angry because one of my biggest pet peeves is competing for the attention of someone I really care for. Besides that, all it did was remind me that I'm a whole year older than her and I still haven't had a boyfriend. I think she could tell I was upset, because afterwards she promised me that when she takes me to see The Tourist, it will only be the two of us.
