I love the cold, and hate the heat. One of my dream vacations is to go to Svalbard, where the temperature never rises above 50 degrees, 3 months out of the year are full darkness, and residents are required by law to carry a rifle with them when leaving the town to fend off polar bears. I'd rather go nowhere than go to a sunny, tropical place like Hawaii or something, I hate that kind of climate.

I have just watched an American movie (ST: DS9, 3x19) with English subtitles and I really liked it! I always was afraid of English subtitles, but they're not as scary as they seem
I'm still afraid of watching movies without any subtitles at all.

I've been spending the last 8yrs now compiling a list of my favorite movies in a database of sorts though, I doubt I'll be able to find & list all the films I've seen but, I'll try..

I love collecting DVDs. Right now I have a total of 46 of them - 36 at home and waiting for 10 to arrive in the mail.

The reason I can buy so many of them at once is because I buy them cheaply on Amazon.com . I buy them used, but I always make sure that I'm buying them in good condition, and from sellers who have at least 100 transactions under their belt and a good feedback rating. I'm told that I'm a "smart shopper" this way.

That sounds awesome. It was warm out today. I enjoyed the feel of the sun, but the reminder that it means it will soon be swelteringly hot was not a happy one. I should move back to Alaska.
