The hotel I stayed at. £82 for a twin for three nights, no breakfast. It wasn't brilliantly situated, the hotel is located in a very unfinished industrial estate about a mile from the city centre. To add to that, there are no local shops or anything of that nature - all of those are in the city centre or at a large shopping arcade also in the city centre.

As you can see, the room is modern and clean but rather basic in nature. There was a bit of a problem with noise at night due to the very close proximity to the train station. The bed was in reasonable order but the foam pillows were very uncomfortable, so we went out and bought some replacements. There is a (very quiet) hotel bar selling lager at £4 a pint - most people, I imagine, would either stock up at a local Tesco or go down the road for a few drinks or at the Harvester instead, where lager is a pound cheaper per pint. The air 'conditioning' doesn't work properly either, and the customer service leaves a bit to be desired.

The TV itself. There is an option to use the Internet but at nearly £6 per hour I passed on it. Free wi-fi is available, however:

hahaha love it! my former husband nicknamed me R2D2 (he is a star wars superfan), because i'm a fix-it sort of person (plus i'm short lol).

that's really nice... i really like macro photos that emphasise texture. do you have a light table?

I wrecked my right leg rock climbing 12 years ago and ripped my knee apart but because of the overflexible joints and motor control problems I've done it a couple of since as well, 3 years on crutches out of the last 12. Physio is going quite well now though so hopefully I'll be up and about soon.
