IMO reading news in overall is unhealthy, that's why I stopped around year ago. That biased FUD propaganda contributed significantly to my depression back in '23.

^ Well, in era of raising children on "smart"phones / tablets...
One of my cousins (born 2016) could access smartphone whenever she wanted by 3yo, in name of "stress-less parenting". And that was 6 years ago. Guess what, she didn't want toys but youtube brain-rot.

It's just my partner's grandson is turning 4 and my partner decided to give him some coins from his coin collection, so I said "why don't we just get him a toy?" and my partner said "he's too old for toys". He sounds like he's turning 18, not 4. You'd give your grandson some coins for his 18th birthday maybe, but a 4-year-old ain't going to appreciate coins.
