Being asocial doesn't mean lacking an ego or a sense of self -- those actual lack of latter will make someone be inclined into being asocial.

Nor does lacking anxiety meant being a thrill seeker or choses anxiety inducing stuff as a poison of choice to "compensate".
Not everyone who felt more alive with the feelings of anxiety would mistook it into an interest, attraction, or make someone addicted to it.

Nor lacking anxiety itself is a form of hollowness, no different than not having enough whatever desirable thing, nor had little to do with lacking contrasts of positive and negative.

Because lacking anxiety does not equal numb, nor lacking whatever meaning in existing -- ones who are actually numbed out do a LOT of thrill seeking to compensate themselves.
