It just popped into my head to wonder if there's a restaurant called The Noodle Barn.

I like the Phil Spector Christmas album. It was a window into what the rest of the 60s were going to be like.

A couple of times strangers have called my partner my dad to me, but when I'm with my actual dad nobody calls him my dad.

Not been around when 2BSD was all the rage
Haven't used Linux since SLS era
Not been here even for half a year

I woke up to the smell of ammonia. Before I could identify it, I thought it was from my CPAP machine. ("I think I need to replace and clean the hose.")
Then I could smell it after I removed the nozzle thing.
I could smell it after I walked to the restroom. That's when I thought "did I not flush last night? That was not it.

Did my liver fail and is it my body odor? No. Other symptoms of liver failure are not present.
Note: I drink alcohol only once or twice a year, if that much, because my dad was an alcoholic. step-dad was a much nicer version of my dad, but still and alcoholic.

Still, is it my body odor?
What Does It Mean If Your Body Smells Like Ammonia?
No.

So I'm left with "is there a dead body?" or "is it coming from the Proctor and Gamble Plant seven blocks away?"
Likely the last one. If so, it is suspicious that they release this smell/gas at 5am, or possibly earlier.

Meanwhile, Dead Body Smell: What Does It Actually Smell Like?

I'm not ruling out dead body. It is not necessarily a human dead body. Perhaps a mouse in the house or a possum outside? Someone once dumped a decaying possum on my sidewalk.

I saw a photo of a UK street covered in snow on a June day (which I didn't think was possible but apparently it happened in the 1970s one summer), but it felt so weird seeing non-evergreen trees full of green leaves with snow laying in the ground underneath, that I almost pissed myself laughing.

I've learned a lot of lessons this month. Don't buy scratch n wins, don't play dice games on my phone if I feel the constant need to top up my dice. Read the dates of my appointments carefully.
