Going to campus again today. I will go to the big library on campus before my shift.

Who wouldn't wanna go into space

When you want to share a meme on Facebook while at work but you have your supervisor as a Facebook friend.

When you always read "meme" as "maymay" for some reason.

When you have to check the date every time you see the front of a British newspaper, to see if it's not April the 1st. Even on Christmas day.

I wore my blue cloth German helmet for the first time since September and it felt liberating.

I went to subway for lunch.

I visited both Aldi and Lidl supermarkets in Central Manchester this afternoon. Gotta say that Lidl is the winner by a mile.

Saying I feel embarrassed about people knowing I have AS is actually not supposed to be offensive to everyone on the spectrum. It's the same as the fact that I avoid wearing glasses because they make me feel unattractive, but that I am not saying glasses makes everyone else who wears them unattractive.

It's just about pride and self-consciousness and all that, not a generalised statement about everyone in the community. Past experiences often shape how we see ourselves as adults, and I have had bad experiences with both AS and glasses. I don't care if I squint when looking at small print, I am not going to wear glasses. My eyesight is good otherwise.

Campus for me today. I will do the main library before shift too. The library staff is so nice.

I hope I get outreach today. I know that I shouldn't take for granted that someone is always going to phone and come.

I think my body has the wear and tear of a 70 year old. That's strange. I have the mind of a 21 year old.

I'd love to listen to my music but I'm waiting for an electrician and if I start listening to my music, I'll go in another world my head won't be able to manage a real life person coming into my life

It's too much of a contrast
