I just don't reply at all, and let someone else do it.

Have you ever been on a sinking ship? I'm watching Titanic right now, hence why I'm asking.

No, I've never been on a sinking ship.

Would you ride in an airplane with a pilot who had to look at the owner's manual before taking off, and who couldn't remember which airport hanger he/she put the plane in the last time he/she had it out?

No, but I was hurled five metres through the air when we were sailing across the Irish Channel at night during a ferocious thunderstorm. Pretty awe inspiring night.

Have you ever writen a book/essay? What would you like to write about>

I wrote lots of stories when I was in elementary school, most of which involved fantasy and magical things. :)

Would you rather write a novel or direct a movie?

Direct a movie, because I can't write well at all. Although I doubt I'd do a good job at directing either. :P

How long ago was the latest occasion where you travelled far from your home, and where to?

Sadly no - but I've seen a dull red one during an eclipse of the Moon.

Have you ever examined the craters on the moon through a telescope?

Yes.

Design your own, private theme park.

Ok, I will.

Do you sometimes feel the people you're with have gone deaf?

Yes, however I think it is more likely they are merely choosing not to listen as I tend to say 'inapropriate' things and ask 'awkward' questions.

Have you ever laid on your back in a paddock with bare feet and closed your eyes opening them only because a group of cows have come and encircled you and a wet slobbery tounge has stroked the insole of your foot?
If so, did you enjoy it more than human contact?

Not precisely that, but I know what you mean and my reply is 'yes'.

Mine was a wild Robin which got trapped in the kitchen. I scooped it up and took it outside to a quiet corner to let it go.
Once I'd calmed it down in my hands I opened them, expecting it to fly away but instead, it hopped up onto my thumb and sat there preening.
It stayed there for 10 minutes, just looking around and occasionally hopping across to my other hand, while I was allowed to scratch its throat and the back of its head. It seemed to enjoy this because when I scratched its throat, it would lift its head back and the eyes closed - like a dog does when you're giving it a really good chin-scratch.
I was absolutely spellbound, and it's making me go all teary just thinking about it. Beautiful experience.

<ahem>

Are you as interested in watching TV today as much as you were 5 years ago?

Yes. Programmes change, but I'll always find something good. What seems mundane today may become nostalgic in the future.

Do you like Oreos?
