^ The profound cruelty of humanity perplexes me. As a young boy, I often felt the need to befriend and care for those with physical or mental problems. Why hurt a human being who is born into suffering? Caring for a person who really needs it and making them happy is one of the greatest joys in this world. As far as vocations are concerned, medical professionals deserve to be placed far on the positive end of the moral spectrum. I have a tremendous respect for those in the medical field--at least those who pursue it for all the right reasons.
