Men who deliberately force their burps out so that it comes out extremely loud, as though it's a rude way to be heard. It actually frightens me and I also feel embarrassed and grossed out by it. I don't get why people have to do that for, there is no need except to be obnoxious. In my experience men seem to do it more than women.

Grown adults who start smoking because of being so easily led. I get so disappointed when someone I know and love dearly and who never smoked suddenly starts smoking just because their partner does.

My partner's a smoker and a drinker but I don't ever smoke or drink because I have a mind of my own.

When some newcomer on this website made one or a handful of posts here, and just when they look promising and you want to get to know that user....they NEVER appear again.

How every single thing these days is being turned into some kind of conspiracy theory by paranoid delusional foil heads.
The sun and moon don't exist! Climate change isn't real, it's a hoax! But the Earth is both completely *flat* and hollow!

When an older person does something physically demanding that would stress you out and ableists saying "he can do it and he's 70!" Well, number 1, more fool him (or her), and number 2, not everyone's the same.

I'm sure they'll be announcing their engagement to each other soon.

Crowds. Not only are they an excellent source of highly contagious viruses, but the way humans become nearly mindless and unable to think independently when in crowds is eerily primitive, like sheep going over a cliff.

Except that real sheep are a lot smarter than they get credit for.

When you mention a name very clearly and people always respond with "who?"

"Hey I saw [name of very familiar person to you both with a very easy name to hear and remember] in town today"

"You saw who?"

Ugh! Just hear the name!

Apparently not. Putin and Modi were seen walking hand in hand in China, though Putin did look a little uncomfortable while doing that.

I suspect there is a lover's spat between Putin and Trump in the making. It could turn public and very, very ugly.

When someone (usually in a sort of online clique) starts a thread pretending to actually be a party. I'm not saying it's wrong or against any rules or shouldn't be done or anything like that, it's just my opinion. Just because I have an opinion on something it doesn't make it fact lol.

Like one time on another forum they were throwing a barbecue Christmas party, so everyone who posted in the thread were at this imaginary Christmas party with an imaginary barbecue. I don't know why but reading it just got on my nerves, especially that most of the posts in the thread were of a clique with inside jokes and flirting with one another.

Ugh, just get together a throw a real party if you're that bloody close. How can you have a party in a thread?

Just my opinion. Please don't kill me lol.

I will take this under advisement. ;) The problem is that many of us are scattered throughout the cosmos. There is "The restaurant at the end of the universe", a la The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy we could meet at, if you manage to find a spaceship with an infinite improbability drive. I will be there with my gorgeous significant other at a window seat, if you would like to join us.

Predictable jokes. For example, if I said that I would like to take a water bottle with me to the swimming-pool because I get so thirsty while swimming but not sure if I'd be allowed to keep a water bottle on the side of the pool, I can bet all my money that the response will be "but the pool is full of water, drink that!" whether they mean it as a joke or not it will still inevitably be said.

No, I am not going to drink swimming-pool water to relieve thirst.

That the human rights of a dangerous, psychopathic murderer in prison is more important than mine.
