Speaking from personal experience, all of the changes I've undergone over the past several years have been for the better. I'm wiser and more mature than I was back then. Back when I was 16, I was so bitter and angry at the world. Now I'm so much happier than I was back then. It certainly helps that my hormones aren't raging 24/7 anymore.
