I wonder if there is a easy way to improve the performance of my laptop. I bought it in the summer 2013, and it's a Lenovo. It was a relatively cheap computer back then, and the guy who sold it to me (in the store) didn't give the impression that it was a very good purchase. Ha also had cheaper computers but he told me that the reason they are that cheap is that they contain old hardware. He litterary said that they where more or less useless because of that.

My laptop has gotten more sluggish lately, especially when it comes to wrong planet. Several times a day the webpage (not the whole screen) becomes totally blank/white, or internet explorer crashes and has to restore. It says a script has been running for too long. If there is a comercial at the buttom on the page with moving images and sound, then it might crash or be very sluggish.

I will try using a new browser, I think I'll try google crome. If that doesn't help, I'll probably buy a new one, I can afford it.

Possibly that might correct the issue as well, the idea of having more laptop memory might also be a consideration.

^It seems like it's helping some. I only use WP in Google Chrome, that way I will find out if the different problems I've been having is only related to WP. More laptop memory, does that mean that someone will have to physically install it into my computer? Anyway thanks for the tip :)

I remember when the laptop was new that the fan didn't go on full speed often, now it does it all the time.

Yes, a professional technician will need to install more memory chips or you can do it yourself as, I have done which, is not too difficult.

Hmmm I don't think I'm willing to go to that step, it seems like it just might be easier to buy a new one considering that I'm really not that interessted in computers. I have deleted all the apps I don't use to try and free up some resources. I have deleted all the temperary internett files (and that made no difference) I only use windows defender as virus protection.

learning something new seems to brighten my mood, and temporarily keen my mind, much more so than the often advised endorphin seeking through exercise... checked, and the internet says that there's a dopamine response to learning something new, and that it's used for retention of new information. neat, if it's true.

A short break will do you good as, I often take breaks from cpu every 30-2hrs so as not to become a zombie
