I'm delighted not to have anything to do for Halloween besides sit at home and watch horror movies on Netflix by myself, which I do all year round anyway. Nope, I don't want to get to show off my costume that I've been working on for months (but isn't actually quite done yet, because I have no reason to actually get it done by Halloween and am feeling unmotivated), not even to people who will know what I'm supposed to be and properly appreciate it.
