The other night I had a dream that my class had a field trip where we go "catch rainbows" We all had mirrors and everything! To reflect them off the mirrors. The school was my house, so the whole class was there. We would be called alphabetical order to get on the red tram car, and a bell would ring. There was a tram car instead of a bus waiting for us in my basement! We were doing this overnight, so I had a red coat on and also my grey jacket with me in case it would get cold. So the tram car teleported us, not drove us there! When we got to the place, everyone got instructions what to do, and I was with my 2 friends. There were so many rainbows and it was so dark. I have alot of dreams about beautiful scenery, and it was night time, and there was a stream that was literally glowing, and behind that were a bunch of mountain pinks. I can't really describe the place much but it was really pretty. And there was a certain path everyone had to go on, and I had a map, and I was told not to go across the Rainbow Path (a different path, I don't remember the other one), or I would end up in Another World.. My friends (they thought it was a short cut to something..) and I did, so we went over the glowing stream and the mountain pinks, and we were actually walking on a rainbow!! I then got scared because I was lost and seperated from my friends. There was a hole I had to jump in to get back to the Normal World (so I thought). I jumped in the hole and ended up at another friends house, she wasn't acting like herself, and there were a bunch of strange creatures. I didn't think I was actually in Another World as I was dreaming. But it was strange that we were doing the field trip all over again. And I saw some of my old friends (who aren't friends anymore), like I was in a different class. The last thing I remember is going to sit by my one best friend, and asking her where my other friend was. This is exactly what she said, and it makes no sense. "He got in trouble for moving the Ferris Wheel" What Ferris Wheel?? And why would he get in trouble?!?, she thought it was funny that he got in trouble, and I got so mad (hes not the type of person who gets in trouble. I realized I was in Another World.
The dream overall is so hard to explain.

Last night, I had a dream about the oldest living person on Earth, but I don't really remember it as much.

Wow, what a profound dream. What did the rainbows look like at night? Where the colors slightly different? Can you describe the glowing stream more? What color did it glow? Nosy, eh? hehehe

They were blue on the outside, pink in the middle, and yellow in the center. They were bright and colorful. Just picture a glow-in-the-dark-stream. I love telling people about my dreams.

I had a dream recently where I was an anti government activist and I infiltrated the British government. I was sat next to David Cameron and he was talking to me thinking I was someone else. Then he caught on and he set some SS type soldiers on me. I climbed up a lamp post and all the soldiers just ran past me (as if they wouldn't look up), lol.

¤ ¤ ¤ But one I find most disturbing is a reoccurring dream about people leaving their grand pianos outside everywhere. It's weird like in that movie, "Empire Of The Sun", before they drop one of the atomic bombs, Jamie/Jim's in an arena with this English woman who is dying and the arena is full of all these beautiful pieces of furniture and cars. Anyway, grand pianos are all over the place out in the weather and it's very distressing to me, all I can think about is the sounding boards swelling, the keys sticking and getting them all moved inside.
Does anyone know what that could possibly mean? :?:

like you are fearing a societal breakdown, discord overtaking harmony and this degradation will invade your inner sanctum. the black and white piano keys may represent the verities of your life and society, the old truths that are now in doubt, misgivings about everything you hold dear, increasing distrust of public officials and institutions. you are reacting to the breakdown of ethical values in society, and want very much to correct things, so that they can be more wholesome they way they seemed to be when you were much younger. all these grand [double meaning, indicating very nice things] pianos [harmonious beautiful things, beauty and harmony in life and society] are being left to rot, accelerated entropy having its way with everything you value in life. people fighting each other instead of loving each other, more and more hatred public and private. that was the best i could guess at.

please do tell more about your precognitive dreams. i have never been sufficiently gifted to be able to do anything like that.

That's very impressive AuntBlabby and it makes perfect sense. :)

Sometimes when I wake up and open my eyes my dream will continue for a few minutes and the people in my dreams will be standing next to my bed carrying on as they were when I was asleep. They look very real and I usually just watch them until they fade away.

Once as a child I woke up and looked at the window to see a man climbing in. He walked over to the bed (I was on the top bunk), held up a knife and looked at me. I was so scared I didn't make a sound, just looked back at him. Then he bent down and went onto the bottom bunk, but it made no sound so I thought it must have been a dream. I reached for the light and looked around but there was no trace of anyone. I didn't go back to sleep that night and for years and years after that would wake up right at the same time that dream had occurred.

OMGS that's some scarey stuff! It kinda reminds me of the time I was camping with my family in the White Mountains(?)
-------------------------------------------------------------
I think and I woke up really early before the Sun had even thought about rising, because I had to pee really bad. So I slipped out of the tent quietly and was walking to the nearest outhouse when I thought I saw something that looked like a big bear.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I couldn't see it well because I had left my glasses back in the tent. I stood there frozen until the Sun decided to rise because I just knew that bear was going to catch me and eat my insides before I made it back to the tent and could let anyone know I was in danger.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The bear turned out to be a big narly tree stump! I was so embarassed about it I have never told anyone until now.

i dreamt that i was with a former acquaintance who was a nurse anaesthetist in the virginia army hospital i was stationed in during my military years. i used to house-sit for her when she went away on vacations and such. i was in her very swanky apartment [IRL she lived in a house in the 'burbs] and it was very hot and humid there, just like virginia in the summer. so i am guessing this dream took place in the virginia of my memories. anyways, this apartment had what seemed like endless floors or levels inside of it- i.e., i could go upstairs and never run out of upstairs to climb upwards on, and i could go downstairs and never reach the basement. what an apartment! and everything was made out of polished and very shiny blond wood- fancy. and for some reason, my late mother and father were there also, along with my sister. then norma [the nurse anaesthetist] came back early from vacation and was upset with me because the place had a bit of dust, she expected it to be white-glove-inspection ready. she called me a slacker and was very disgusted with me. i felt about 3 inches tall after she was through telling me off. [IRL she was a sweetheart who would never do such a thing]
i suddenly noticed that all the windows were open, this place had gazillions of windows which were all the "tip-out" variety, and i was afraid it would get too cold and norma would yell at me some more, so i climbed the endless stairs and closed 'em all, then i noticed that things got very hot inside the place even though the thermometer only read 72 degrees, so i turned on the air conditioner feeling disgusted for some reason- then i awoke from the dream.

I had the weirdest dream yesterday morning. I was with my mother and we were driving to visit relatives.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The roads were all curvy and up and down little foothills. Finally we come to the most beautiful graveyard I've ever seen with perfect green grass, lots of trees, bushes and flowers throughout. And it had the most interesting gravestones and statues all about it.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Somewhere in this graveyard we arrived at this mansion where my mother's great aunt lived. So we went in to a room and while my mother was visiting her great aunt, I was walking around looking at the furnishings and paintings. -------------------------------------------------------------
I went in one room where there was a lovely grand piano in finished oak wood. I turned around and my mother and her great aunt were behind me and asked me to play. But I don't remember playing, we were back in the car headed for the seaside. My dream ended when we reached the sea. I believe we were in France but it might of been England.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I have to stop dreaming about these pianos. I wonder if it's because I sold mine when I moved to the East Coast and I haven't bought another one yet?
-------------------------------------------------------------
If it keeps up, I might have to go buy another one. I miss playing.

this one basically has me stumped. none of my dream books had any similar dream imagery for me to study. :?
p.s., get yourself another piano any way you can! if you have the god-given talent to make music with one, it cries out for creative expression NOW!! !

I had a vivid really surreal dream 2 nights ago. I don't remember anything else in the dream but this one part where a big ugly fish is attacking my brothers eyes. It was really disturbing. My brother was a kid in the dream and he wasn't in water or even near water. But this vicious crazy fish just kind of flies out of nowhere (like a bat out of hell...but a fish LOL) and goes straight for his eyes. He starts screaming. I'm horrified and frozen and the fish with it big gaping gross mouth and teeth and crazed looking eye (I can only see it from the side) plunges into one of his eyes and rips his eyeball out to eat it. 8O Then I woke up.

I have no idea what this is suppose to mean. I'm going to look up fish in my dream dictionary, but psycho fish eating eyeballs? What the....?

OK, here is my free SWAG at it, so if you don't like it there is no refund because i never charged you any $$$ for it  --

Fish
Consider the common phrases "like a cold fish", "fish out of water" or something that is "fishy" about a situation. It may also imply a slippery or elusive situation. To see a flying fish in your dream, indicates that you are feeling emotionally free and uninhibited, but it could mean a warning from your subconscious mind to be on the lookout for a danger you have not considered, especially from another person who happens to be superficially proper but may just be a sociopath waiting for the right time to attack.

To see eyes in your dream may also be a pun on "I" or the self. To dream that you have something in your eye, represents obstacles in your path. Alternatively, it may represent your critical view and how you tend to see faults in others. To dream of eye injury, suggests your refusal to see the truth about something. You may be expressing feelings of hurt, pain or sympathy.

in addition, the "brother" in your dream might just be a projection of yourself.

To dream that you are being attacked by someone, indicates your character is being questioned. You feel the need to defend yourself. You are feeling stressed, vulnerable and helpless. You may also be facing with difficult changes in your waking life. Dreaming of an attack provides a way for you to confront these situations that you may be avoiding in real life. To dream that you are being attacked by an animal, is a warning to be careful with those around you. Take notice of who you know in your waking that shares and exhibits the same qualities of the animal that attacked you in your dream.

To see violence in your dream, indicates unexpressed anger or rage. The dream may also reflect repressed memories of child abuse. You may be feeling helpless or vulnerable in some area of your life. Violence toward others in your dream, suggests that you may be fighting or struggling against aspects of your own Self.

Auntblabby -

Wow. *gulp* There's a lot in what you've written that kind of blows me away. Too much to get into in detail right now. I have to get to bed. I'll only get a couple hours sleep today as it is, so I'll be back to respond to what you wrote. I can tell you there is one person who immediately comes to mind that I think of as a "cold fish" and who I'm having confused feelings about re: possible agenda vs. genuineness.

Thanks a lot for what you shared :)

Bits and pieces from last night:
I saw a man who was just a head balanced on a hand like a tripod.
There was someone else who was reciting all the words in the English language.
My sister and I were driving through a bad part of town in a toy car.
