I learned that finally I was able to cope without a computer while the power was out without getting totally stressed over it...I even had a smile on my face!

i learned that msg can give certain people violent dreams.

I learned that the correct English pronunciation of fire is two syllables, not one. I've been pronouncing as one syllable all my life, and when I came across poetry where it had to count as two, I thought it an affectation of the poet. Today I discover that you are meant to pronounce it "fei - er" (as in "come on baby light my fire" by the Doors.)

Gosh, don't I feel silly?

I learned that You and I Part II, by Fleetwood Mac, is not available on YouTube.

I learned that there will be a theatrical version of The Hobbit slated to come out 2 yrs from now or later..
