I had a dream where my family and I were in the anime Elfen Lied. We were in the research facility in the first episode where Lucy escaped from. In the dream, just as in the anime, she started killing everyone in sight. My family and I were desperately trying to find places to hide so she wouldn't find us and kill us too. It was kind of scary.

there are several east coast companies which specialize in odd flavors of ice cream, such as roast beef and gravy or turkey and dressing or even dill pickles. i would love to try the first two.

try watching "eraserhead" or "insignifigance" which are two weird-dream-inducing flicks. one guaranteed to give you dreams, is "un chien andalou" which is a whopper of a weird dreamy flick.

Oh yuk that sounds so disgusting. I think I would rather eat one and then the other right after I eat the first. I have sex dreams once in a blue moon myself probably because I don't have sex, in real life. Thank You for the great movie suggestions AuntBlabby, you big Sweetheart. :)

prego, ma soeur :)
i dreamt that i was in some weird kind of restaurant from the 1960s, and the proprietor of the restaurant, a balding paunchy ethnic man in his 50s, was walking around in the place wearing a blue silk button-down shirt and charcoal slacks with a gray leather belt. on his back he had a blue silken papoose holding a baby but with a duplicate of the man's full-sized bald head. he walked up the stairs and entered a bathroom, where he disrobed to shower. suddenly, out of the man's chest, sprouted yet another identically bald head who proceeded to blab wildly about something i can't remember after awaking, but the man's top head and papoose head both nodded in agreement with the chest head. then i awoke.

I dreamed it was my birthday and my family took me out to a fried chicken restaurant where you walked up to the window and ate at tables in the parking lot.

Then there was a shooting over in the distance and the police came around and stamped "Shooting Going On -->" on everyone sitting there's foreheads so that people walking/driving past would know not to stop. They already had it stamped on their own.

I said "Maybe we should leave" so we left. Then I got home and wanted fried chicken so we went back and the shootings were still going on and this time someone started shooting into table area. The police decided it had gotten sufficiently dangerous and shouted at everyone to get under the tables.

The shooting passed and we went back home. We still hadn't really gotten to eat the chicken but this time I was not eager to go back. Someone said to me, "It's your damn birthday, you're going back to get that chicken!" I thought "Great" but I didn't say anything.

a common theme of my dreams is that i have designed and built a flying vehicle similar to an aircraft, but with imaginary innovations, and it is big enough to have 4 bedrooms and a galley and a dining room and a theater room, as well as a bathroom where one can have a shower.
i dreamed that i had my final prototype ready for testing, and FAA people (who were appointed to test my design) knocked on my door at 7:30 am, and i simply was not ready to get up.
i asked them to wait, and they said they would, but i was able to hear their conversations outside and i wanted to hear nothing because i wanted to continue to sleep.

i went outside and told them all to go away, and i went back inside and i went to sleep, and when i woke up, i did not even have any flying vehicle, and i realized those people never existed. if only i had have got out of the bed in my dream and treated them well, i would have got to dream about flying what i spent months mentally designing.

big smoke blues.

Well it doesn't sound as bad as saurkraut ice cream. :)

well, the best sauerkraut i ever ate [slow-cooked with dark beer and cheddar cheese and italian-seasoned tomato sauce, with "pigs in a blanket" stewed in along with it] would make a wonderful icecream, IMHO. and maybe great grist for dreams, also. i would suggest to you, that maybe you should consider tasting a morsel of such, just to say you did it, and maybe you'd want some more of that delicious sauerkraut beer cheddar tomato and italian sausage icecream.

i dreamt that i was in my old childhood house with my late mother [once again] and it was 0-dark-thirty when i arose to go to work, and outside the window it was still dark- suddenly i could hear a bunch of latino men loudly arguing amongst themselves and challenging each other to fights, then somebody switched on some floodlights and i could see a bunch of latino army NCOs sitting in folding chairs being lectured by some anglo army major, on the importance of brotherly love and taking care of each other as soldiers with a common cause. then he brought them to attention and dismissed them. then the sun rose and i got dressed and went to work in the army maternity/labor and delivery unit i used to work in long ago, and it was a full census and lots of pregnant women were giving birth and i got slammed pretty hard with all the baby deliveries i had to attend to. then in the middle of a brief break in the action [between deliveries] i was cleaning up the rooms and restocking them when some doctor in her labcoat came up to me and told me "happy birthday! i'm sorry this is all i have for you." then dropped what looked like a $400 bill on the table in front of me, then she bent forward and kissed me on the mouth then walked away. i was thinking [in the dream] "WOW! a $400 and a kiss! this actually happened to ME!! ! i never had this kind of luck before!" then it occurred to me [in the dream] "HEY! there's no such thing as a $400 bill! what is this?" and i looked down at the bill and it was a picture of a counterfeit bill with a engraving of comedian george lopez sneering in a cameo in the middle of it, and it was printed on a clipping of a newspaper article about the various forms of counterfeit currency. then i awoke. AuntBlabby, you're making me gag! :eew:  That's just too many different foods for me to think about eating at one time.

I have decided that when I get paid at the end of the month, I am going to buy saurkraut and ice cream and mix them together and eat them just before I go to bed at night, to see what happens. :pale:

I remember when you said you dreamed about your mother before. Sometimes it's hard for me afterwards when I dream about someone I loved and they have already died.

That was some crazy-ass dream you had. :) I use to work the Labor and Maternity Ward when I was pregnant and in the AF. Women are always having babies. Seems like they do it all at once around a full moon sometimes too. So I know what you're talking about when you said you were slammed. :help:

it was a vivid and electrifying dream.

nothing happening for an amount of time is such a rare event in my existence that i went completely beserk with joy and i woke up and rejoiced about the fact that nothing at all was happening in my mind.........at last!! !

but then it dawned on me........it was all happening in my mind.
:D LOL... That's funny.

I had a dream where I was posting on WP. I can't remember the specifics now, but the postings were odd.
